We are the largest further
and higher education College in Northern Ireland and by far the
biggest educational institution in Belfast. We are at the forefront
of developing our course provision so that it meets today's skills
needs and anticipate those of the future. This in turn, should you
decide to join us, will enable you to gain employment, develop
yourself professionally or improve your chances of gaining access
to higher education.
This year is also an
exciting time for us operating in our new fantastic,
state-of-the-art building located in the Titanic Quarter area of
the city. Depending on your course of study or training programme,
you may be located at this fabulous building and you are sure to be
impressed with all its facilities. We are also excited about our
new £15m economic development project which has been designed to
promote employability, entrepreneurship and enterprise (e3).
Our College mission is to
become a 'centre of learning of excellence', committed to
transforming lives and contributing to the economic well being of
Belfast and Northern Ireland. In going forward the Belfast
Metropolitan College will focus strongly on three core
directions:
