In the wake of major
accidents around the globe, the National Skills Academy Process
Industries and Cogent formed a Process Safety Management Project
Board with senior industry and union representatives, the
TSA, UKPIA and
IChemE, to tackle the issue of quality assuring
Process Safety training.
Since introducing the
Process Safety training to the market in 2011 over 1300 delegates
have completed the courses aimed at leaders, operators and
managers. In that time the Academy has also built a network of
quality assured Academy Accredited training providers that
