THE INSPIRATIONAL Youth Engineering Show will once again return to the North East this summer under the exciting new title of

The show is an exciting fast-moving event, featuring presentations, interviews, demonstrations and videos about the world of engineering. This year the show will showcase new and exciting advances in technology happening in the North East region and beyond – come and see the technology of the future demonstrated now – from electric cars to power generation!

We’re also excited to announce a headlining visit from Honda’s humanoid robot ASIMO, the culmination of more than two decades of humanoid robotics research and development. ASIMO stunned crowds in 2009 with its ability to climb stairs and dance and will be back at the 2010 show to astound a new audience of young people!

The show, which is aimed at young people aged 11-17 provides a fantastic opportunity for youngsters from the North East to be inspired, meet employers, understand the fundamental importance of engineers and the diverse range of rewarding career options available.
